At 3D Print Co, custom orders are one of our favorite things to do. How Custom 3D Printing Works with Us

It's simpler than you'd think. There's no minimum order, no design degree required, and you don't need to know anything about 3D printing.

Step 1: You tell us what you want. Send us a message through our custom order page and describe what you're looking for. You can paste a link to a model on MakerWorld, send us a screenshot from TikTok or Pinterest, or just describe an idea. We've worked with all of the above.

Step 2: We figure out the details. We'll get back to you and talk through colors, size, quantity, and any tweaks. Need it in your school colors? No problem. Want to swap a color to match a wedding theme? Easy. Want 100 of them for a party? We'll give you a bulk price.

Step 3: We print and ship it. Everything is 3D printed by us, right here in Ohio. We pack it ourselves and ship it to your door. If you're local to Cincinnati, Ohio, you can even pick it up.

That's it. No complicated quoting software, no three-week back-and-forth with a factory overseas. Just two real people (hi, we're Ryan and Abbey) who will email you back and make sure it comes out right.

This is probably our number one custom request. Someone loves our Mini Bottle Keychain or one of our other products but needs it in crimson and gray for their school, or green and gold for their team. If you can show us the colors, we can match them. Hex codes help, but even a screenshot of a jersey works.

We've printed custom keychains in wedding colors for guest favors, table decor pieces, bridal party gifts, and matching sets for bridesmaids. Our wedding actually started this whole business. We 3D printed a custom sign for our guests to take pictures with, and people loved it so much we thought, "we should sell stuff."

This is one of our favorite requests. You found a model on MakerWorld, Thingiverse, or another 3D model site and you want someone to actually print it for you. Yes, we can do that. Just send us the link and we'll quote it. MakerWorld especially has thousands of free models, from phone stands to planters to gadgets, and we can print any of them in whatever color you want.

A lot of people don't realize that the models on these sites are free to download, but you still need a printer to make them real. That's the service we provide. You pick the design, we handle the rest.

Pricing: What to Expect

We're not going to pretend every custom job costs the same, because it depends on the size, complexity, and quantity. But to give you a rough idea:

A single custom-colored keychain runs about the same as our regular products, around $8 to $12. Bulk orders get cheaper per piece. A custom print from a MakerWorld model depends on the size and print time, but most small to medium items land somewhere between $10 and $30.
